Pro tip: my Thursday post got 50 views while my Monday one hit 5,000

Last week I posted a video on Monday night around 9pm EST and it flopped hard, maybe 50 views in two hours. Then on Thursday I dropped the same type of content at 7am with a simpler title and it blew up to 5,000 views by lunch. No clue if it was the time or the headline, but the difference was wild. Anyone else see huge swings like that from one small change?

Read a study last month that said engagement peaks at weird morning hours for specific niches, like 6-8am for creative stuff versus 8-10pm for news. Your Thursday bump at 7am lines up with that morning window where people are scrolling before work, maybe less competition too because everyone else is posting at night. I tested it myself with a couple of posts and saw the same pattern my Tuesday morning post did 3x better than my Wednesday night one, even though the content was basically identical. The title thing is tricky though, like a simpler headline might just hook people faster when they're half awake and skimming.

That bit about the simpler headline hooking people when they're half awake makes a lot of sense. I heard a podcast where a creator said mornings are when people are more honest with their clicks cause they haven't filled their head with other stuff yet. So your 7am Thursday bump might be a double win - better timing and a clearer title that cuts through the fog.
