Vent: That $99 course taught me what a 10 minute YouTube video already covered
Paid for a "growth hacker" course last month (the guy had 200k followers so I figured it was legit) and it was just screenshots of his own posts with vague advice like "engage with your niche." The one actual tactic he shared, using relevant hashtags that aren't saturated, took me 10 minutes to find on a free search the other day. I lost $99 and three evenings of my life, plus my algorithm score actually dropped after following his posting schedule. Has anyone else paid for one of these influencer courses and gotten less than a free blog post? What's actually worked for you that didn't cost a dime besides the obvious stuff like posting at peak hours?
