Question about the time my badge stopped working on a Friday and security walked me out
I was at my desk on the 8th floor in Charlotte last fall when my badge quit working, and security showed up to escort me out with zero info from my manager. Turns out HR had me logged as a contractor whose contract ended that day, even though I'd been full time for 2 years, so I just kept quiet, went home, and emailed the pay stub showing my real status. Has anyone else had payroll or HR mix up their job code and cause a whole mess?
