Showerthought: I spent 6 years formatting Excel reports for a VP who never once opened the file
I worked at a insurance company in Columbus and every Friday I would spend 3 hours making this color coded report look perfect before emailing it to our VP. One day her assistant mentioned the VP just forwarded it straight to a shared drive without opening it, because all she ever wanted was the total on the last tab. Has anyone else built their whole week around a deliverable that nobody actually reads?
