I thought the Hindenburg was a hydrogen problem until I watched a 4 minute clip about the skin
Spent 6 months reading about airship design and always blamed the hydrogen for 1937. Then a guy on a podcast pointed out the outer fabric was basically the same stuff as rocket fuel, and the static spark came off the frame. Now I wonder how many other famous disasters I have been blaming on the wrong thing my whole life, what is one you all got backwards for a long time?
