Our group dinner spreadsheet hit $1,000 in unclaimed Venmo requests and I couldn't believe it
I help run a monthly dinner group with about a dozen people here in Sacramento, and I finally added up all the small unpaid requests on our shared spreadsheet. It came out to just over $1,000 over eight months, mostly $12 to $25 each from people who swore they'd pay later. What surprised me is that the total was way bigger than any single fight we've had, since most of us just let the little stuff slide. Do people here use one person as the collector, or do you make everyone pay their own share at the table?
