Binged 'The Good Place' and I can't stop thinking about the points system

So I finally watched 'The Good Place' all in one go. The whole idea of earning points for good deeds but it being so flawed really hit me. Like when Eleanor tried to do good just for points, not because it was right. It made me wonder if I ever do things just to look good. The show makes you question what being a good person really means. Plus, the twists are so wild it's impossible to stop watching. Honestly, it's one of those shows that sticks with you.

That part about doing things just to look good, I kinda see it different. Trying to look good can still lead to good stuff happening, so the reason doesn't always ruin it.

What if the issue is making goodness a numbers game?

The point system basically killed Tahani's charity work.

Wait, but they literally said buying almond milk lost you points because of the environmental cost. That system was beyond broken.
