Last Friday, I had to pick between starting that new sci-fi series everyone's talking about or just putting on The Office again, and I went with the comfort rewatch. Oh man, I totally get that cozy feeling, but I'm the opposite lately! I forced myself to start a new crime drama last week instead of my usual Parks and Rec re-run. The first episode was shaky, but by episode three I was hooked on a whole new set of characters. Finding a fresh show that clicks gives me a different kind of buzz. It's like the comfort watch is my couch, but a great new find is an adventure.

Ha, that's a solid way to put it. I tried a new sci-fi show last month and almost quit after two episodes. Glad I stuck it out, the third one totally flipped it and now I'm obsessed. That first win with a new show feels so good.
