Finally figured out why everyone raves about The Bear after reading a Reddit thread about its anxiety-inducing pacing
Some random comment said the show captures the feeling of a kitchen rush better than any documentary ever did, and that made me realize I was missing all these little details in the first season that I need to go back and rewatch now.

Holy crap yes. I had the exact same thing happen with a cooking show someone recommended and I didn't get why people lost their minds over it until I read a thread breaking down all the tiny background sounds and camera moves. Rewatching it was a whole different experience, honestly.

I mean, I kind of get it but also I think sometimes people overthink things, you know? Like maybe it's ok to just enjoy the show for what it is without analyzing every little noise or camera angle. I've seen way too many people get obsessed with "hidden details" that probably aren't even there.

Funny enough, I caught myself doing that with a nature documentary last week and felt ridiculous.
