Honestly thought 'The Bear' was just hype until my friend in Chicago made me watch the pilot.

I figured it was just another loud kitchen show, but the stress and the family drama felt so real it hooked me instantly. Ended up watching the whole first season in one weekend, which I never do. Anyone else get totally blindsided by how good this was?
