I finally gave up on that new fantasy show after the third episode

The whole thing fell apart for me when the main guy, who was supposed to be a master swordsman, just stood there while a goblin charged him. It happened last Tuesday, and I just turned it off. The special effects looked cheap and the story felt like a bad copy of something else. Has anyone else tried to watch 'Chronicles of the Dawn' and felt totally let down?

My cousin worked on a low budget monster movie where the creature suit zipper was clearly visible in the final cut. That kind of cheap production just kills any sense of immersion for me too.

You know, sometimes that zipper thing is a choice. I read about one director who left it in on purpose, said it reminded people they were watching a guy in a suit. Kinda like a wink to the audience. Maybe your cousin's movie was going for that?

Honestly gave up on that show after the first fight scene. The main guy just stood there like he forgot his lines. What kind of master swordsman does that? Found a better show from a few years back that actually made me care about the characters. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses and watch something that respects your time.

It's the same problem everywhere now. People just go through the motions. Nobody puts in the real effort anymore. I see it at restaurants, cashiers staring at their phones while you wait. At work, people do the bare minimum and call it a day. That show you mentioned sounds like another casualty of that mindset. Good on you for walking away instead of wasting more time on something half-assed.
