My buddy said the same thing after he binged it. He works in a restaurant and said the show nails the stress and noise of a real kitchen. It's way more intense than those calm competition shows with perfect plating. Did you find yourself yelling at the screen during the family dinner episode?

Oh my god, yes! Honestly it made me realize how many jobs look calm from the outside but are pure chaos behind the scenes. Like, my friend is a nurse and she says her shift feels exactly like that kitchen, just with more beeping machines. The show gets that pressure of everything happening at once.
