Question about the reward of committing to a full series binge
I dedicated my entire Saturday to watching a historical drama that had been on my list for months. Finishing it in one sitting gave me a real sense of completion and sparked some interesting thoughts on narrative pacing. What series have you binged that left you feeling genuinely satisfied afterwards?
That Breaking Bad binge adrenaline is real. I finished the last season in one go and just sat there for like 20 minutes after, heart still racing. It's not just a mental feeling, your whole body has to come down from that constant state of alert.
That "sense of completion" you mentioned is the best part. I marathoned Breaking Bad and the relentless tension made it impossible to stop. Finishing it felt like surviving a crime spree without leaving my couch.
Yeah that "sense of completion" locks you into the show's clock. Makes you wonder, @reed.dylan, if binging just breaks our own sense of time for a while.
