Rant: I was at a friend's house in Austin and they made me watch the first 3 episodes of 'Severance'

Everyone says it's a masterpiece, but the slow burn just felt like a chore. Has anyone else felt pressured to like a show everyone else is obsessed with?

They killed off the main character in episode 7. I watched the whole thing just to see if they'd bring him back somehow, but nope, they were serious. The last few episodes felt so empty without him, like what was even the point. I finished it but I was just mad the whole time lol.
