Tried a 30-day free trial of a streaming service and forgot to cancel before the $15 charge hit

I signed up for Apple TV+ just to watch Severance, binged the whole season in a weekend, and now I'm out $15 because the calendar reminder I set for myself somehow got buried under work stuff - has anyone else dealt with sneaky auto-renewal fees from these streaming services?

Yeah I've noticed the whole economy is basically built on hoping people get distracted. @river952 is right though, fifteen bucks to learn that lesson is practically a steal compared to some of the other stuff we let slip.

Same thing happened to me with Paramount+, totally forgot the date and lost $15.

$15 is basically the cost of one movie ticket so consider it a cheap lesson in calendar reminders.
