Unpopular opinion: Dark is way too slow to be called binge worthy
I keep seeing people rave about Dark on here, but I tried watching it three times and fell asleep by episode 4. The whole time travel thing is interesting, but they drag out every conversation like it's a art film. Am I missing something or does it finally pick up after season 1?

Slow burn is exactly the point though, the payoff hits way harder if you let it build.

Man it's like people forgot how to wait for anything. "The payoff hits way harder if you let it build" is exactly how I feel about most things now. You see it everywhere - people binge whole seasons in a weekend then complain there's nothing good on. I remember when you'd wait a whole week for the next episode and talk about it with friends at work. Same with relationships too, everyone wants instant connection instead of getting to know someone over time. We lost the art of letting things breathe.
