Vent: my sister told me to watch The Bear with subtitles on and it wrecked the show for me
Started The Bear 6 weeks ago after my sister swore the kitchen scenes were too good to miss a word. So I turned subtitles on for all 3 seasons, and now I catch every whisper, every ticket call, every tiny thing. Problem is my brain reads instead of watches, so I missed half the shots people rave about. Turned them off for a rewatch in Chicago and it felt like a totally different show. So which side is it, subtitles for the dialogue or no subtitles for the picture? Trying to settle this with my sister before season 4 drops.
