Watching 1.5x speed with subtitles got me through 4 seasons of a show in 2 weeks
I kept dropping shows around episode 4 for maybe a year straight, so I tried turning on subtitles and bumping playback to 1.5x on my tablet. Suddenly I got through all of Friday Night Lights in 13 days, and I actually caught way more small details than I ever did at normal speed. Does the speed trick work for anyone else, or does it wreck the show for you?
