Honestly I don't get the hype. Once you memorize the patterns it's mostly just about timing. It took me maybe a week back on the NES. People act like it's some impossible feat but really it's just patience and repetition. The game is more about muscle memory than any real skill. So congrats but it's hardly a big deal to me.

Does @the_rowan think muscle memory is different from skill, or is he just mad it took him a week to beat a game most of us couldn't crack in a month?

Right there with you man, Took me almost as long to finally put Tyson down. I remember renting the game over and over as a kid and never getting past Bald Bull. When I finally beat it a few years ago, it felt like closing a chapter that had been open my whole life. The pattern memorization part is real but the execution still takes plenty of coordination and nerve. Nothing wrong with being proud of a win you chased that long.
