How I used to sleeve all my cards immediately vs. now only doing it after 3 plays
After wrecking a $50 deck of Race for the Galaxy sleeves in one night back in 2018, I stopped pre-sleeving everything. Now I wait until a game gets heavy table time - has anyone else shifted their sleeve strategy like this?

lol same. I also stopped after ruining a brand new set of sleeves on one bad night.

Did you ever think about maybe using a cheaper set of sleeves when you're having a rough night? I used to save my expensive ones for tournaments or live play, and just used penny sleeves for kitchen table games. That way if I get tilted I'm only wrecking a 10 cent sleeve instead of a dollar one.

Haha yeah that's a good point honestly. I've been there too where I just snap and tear through a pack of Dragonshields on a bad night. The penny sleeve idea is smart but for me the problem is I just don't think about it when I'm tilted. I'm already in full rage mode and grabbing whatever sleeves are closest. Dollar sleeves or not, I'm still gonna wreck them. Maybe I need to just keep a cheap pack literally taped to the table so I can't miss them.
