Just crossed 500 plays on my game collection tracker this morning

I was just updating my BGG stats and realized I logged my 500th play since I started tracking three years ago. That number surprised me because I only own about 40 games and thought I played way less. It made me realize how many quick games like Love Letter and The Crew really add up over time. Has anyone else hit a milestone that caught them off guard?

Is it really that serious though? I mean 500 plays sounds like a lot until you remember that like half of them are probably five minute filler games. It's just numbers on a screen at the end of the day.

It's just numbers on a screen" - sure, but so is your credit score and that seems to matter to people. I hit 300 plays last month and most of them were 20 minute card games like Jaipur or The Mind. Still felt good to see the number go up. Small wins add up over time, whether or not they're "serious.

@drewr15 I get where you're coming from, but I started tracking my plays last year and it really helped me stay motivated. I set a modest goal of 50 plays per month at first, then bumped it up when I hit that consistently. Seeing that number climb made me want to keep going, even on days I only had time for a quick game of Love Letter.
