Thought solo games were for people who couldn't find a group, then I played one 40 times in a row
I used to roll my eyes at solo modes, figured they were just a band-aid for lonely players. Then a buddy lent me a copy of Mage Knight at our Thursday meetup in Columbus and told me the solo campaign was the real game, not some tacked-on extra. I played it 40 times over the next two and a half months and honestly it wrecked my whole view. The puzzle is tighter when nobody's table talk can bail you out, and I've never thought that hard about a hand of cards. Anyone else get converted like this, or am I just late to something the rest of you knew?
