Tried to sleeve my copy of Gloomhaven, gave up after 4 hours

Only got through the starting classes and the first 20 monster cards. How do you guys even store this thing?

My husband and I attempted that once. We made it through the character boxes before we hit a wall. The sheer number of tiny cards for the monsters was just too much. Our dining table was covered in plastic for a week. We finally gave up and just use the tuck boxes now, unsleeved. It feels like a small defeat.

Oh man, do I ever feel this. I tried to sleeve my copy of Arkham Horror once. I got through the investigator cards okay, but then I opened the mythos deck. The pile of tiny cards just broke me. I had stacks of sleeves everywhere, my fingers were sore, and I just quit halfway through. Using them unsleeved now feels wrong, but I can't face doing it again.

Tuck boxes are actually meant for sleeved cards, they just fit unsleeved ones too. The real defeat is having to sort all those tiny cards again.

Dove headfirst into sleeving my copy of Eldritch Horror one afternoon. Got through the research encounters and mysteries before the sheer volume of unique monster cards from the various expansions just killed my momentum. Ended up with a stack of unsleeved small cards that I just shoved back into the box, and now I'm like @moore.beth where every time I draw one I pretend I can't feel the difference. My fingers still ache just thinking about those tiny sleeves.
