Lincoln vs Miller welders in the shop, any real difference?

I used a Lincoln 300 for 4 years and switched to a Miller 350P last month for a big boiler repair. The Miller runs smoother on thin material but I miss the Lincoln's arc drive on heavy plate. Anybody else notice the same or is it just me getting used to a new machine?

Miller 350P runs thin stuff real nice though... that arc drive difference is a thing for sure.

Bet @umar49 you tried it on aluminum yet (curious if it acts the same)?

Buddy of mine had the same swap a few years back. Took him like two months to stop cussing at the Miller on heavy stuff said it felt soft compared to the Lincoln. @umar49 nailed it with the thin material part though, his shop does mostly stainless and he swears by the Miller now.
