Best and worst bonus hole experiences in one day at Eagle Ridge
Last Saturday at Eagle Ridge, the 19th hole is this par 3 over a pond that's barely 90 yards. First round I hit a wedge that skipped twice and dropped in, best ace I ever had on that hole. Then the afternoon group I joined wanted to play it as a tiebreaker, and I chunked two balls into the water, took a 7. The design is smart though, the pin moves to a shelf on the right for match play, makes it feel completely different. Has anyone else had a bonus hole that giveth and taketh in the same day?
