Hit 1,000 total rounds at my club, ended up on hole 19 twice
Last weekend I played my 1,000th round at Hillcrest and both tiebreakers I've ever seen happened in the same day. The second one got settled by a chip-in from 40 feet on the bonus hole, and now I can't stop thinking about how rare that is. Has anyone else tracked their total and noticed bonus holes pop up way more often than you'd expect?
Hold on, I see it totally different. I've got 800 rounds logged at my place and bonus holes are SUPER rare for me, like maybe once every 200 rounds. That kind of luck on your 1,000th seems like a fluke, not a pattern. You hit a 40 footer to win one? That's a highlight reel moment, sure, but I bet most of us never even see a second tiebreaker in a whole year. Track it over a longer stretch and the numbers drop off hard. Congrats on the milestone, but I wouldn't expect that again for a LONG time.
