That $30 book light I got off Amazon last month was a total waste
I figured a cheap clip-on light would be fine for late-night reading with my club, but the battery died after 45 minutes and the clip snapped on our third meeting. Now I'm stuck holding my phone flashlight over the page like a caveman while everyone else has those proper rechargeable ones. Anybody found a solid one under $50 that actually lasts through a whole discussion?

@price.ben had the right idea with a Target find, I grabbed a rechargeable one from there for around $25 that's been a champ. The clip is metal so it holds tight on any book spine, and the battery lasts like 6-8 hours on a single charge which gets me through a few meetings easy. The warm light setting is nice too, doesn't mess with my night vision like a harsh white LED would. Had mine over a year now, still going strong no issues.
