That $85 audiobook set on tape nearly wrecked our meeting
Our club spent $85 on a boxed audiobook collection of a classic novel, thinking we could all listen before the monthly meetup in Denver. The tapes were from 1998 and the first one snapped in my car player on day two, leaving everyone scrambling with no backup copy. Has anyone else had a pricey audio format flop, and did you find a better way to share the material without everyone buying their own digital copy?
