Finally got my rounding technique to stop tearing cheap paper

For the longest time I used a sanding block to round corners on text blocks. Slow, dusty, and I always ended up with fuzzy edges on anything under 80gsm. About 6 months ago I grabbed a narrow chisel from a garage sale in Spokane and tried shaving the corners instead. Now I make two passes with the chisel, then hit them once with fine sandpaper just to take the burr off. Took maybe a dozen tryouts before I got the angle right, but it cut my rounding time from 8 minutes a book down to 2. No more tearing on the cheap stuff either. Anyone else use a chisel for corners, or am I the odd one here? What do you do when a client brings in paper that's too delicate for normal rounding?
