PSA: My bone folder was tearing paper until I warmed it up under a lamp for a minute

I was getting tiny rips on some 32lb cotton paper, but holding the bone folder near a 60-watt bulb made it glide perfectly. Has anyone else found a simple heat trick that saved a project?

Honestly that sounds like a great way to accidentally warp your tool or start a fire. My bone folder works fine at room temp, maybe you just need a sharper one.
