Watch out for that new batch of PVA from the big craft store chain
Honestly, I used to buy their standard PVA for years with no issues, but the last bottle I got from the downtown location was way too thin. Ngl, it ruined the spine on a custom journal I was making for a client last month. Has anyone else had problems with their glue lately or found a better brand?

Ugh, that's the worst, especially on a client project. I grabbed a bottle for some decoupage a few weeks back and it was like water, just soaked right through the paper and left a huge stain. I had to toss the whole piece. It's so frustrating when a brand you've trusted for ages just changes like that without warning. I'm definitely looking for a new supplier now because I can't risk another batch like that. Sorry about your journal, that's a real pain.

Wait, you had to throw out the whole project? That's brutal. I can't believe they'd let a bad batch go out like that. No wonder you're switching suppliers.

Tell me about it, I'm basically the queen of craft fails this month. Tried to save a batch like leo_black76 mentioned by adding cornstarch to thicken it, which just made lumpy, weird-smelling paste. My whole dining table is a glittery crime scene now.
