Appreciation post: my neighbor's 12 foot bird of paradise finally bloomed
I've been watching this thing for 3 years from my kitchen window, and it just opened up last Tuesday. The flower is this insane electric orange and blue, bigger than my head. I figured out it needed way more sun than people say, so I asked him to move it off the north side of his patio. Has anyone else had one take forever to flower, or is mine just stubborn?
