My aloe vera finally had a baby pup after 3 years of waiting

I got this aloe vera from a friend back in 2021 and it just sat there looking sad in a tiny pot. Last week I noticed a little green nub poking out of the soil near the edge. I carefully dug around it and found a full baby pup with its own roots. It was a tiny win but I honestly felt like a proud plant parent lol. Anyone else have a plant that took forever to finally do something cool?

You know what, @karencampbell, I used to be the type who had zero patience. If something didn't happen right away I'd just move on to the next thing, no looking back. But a buddy of mine spent months waiting for a guy to sell an old truck, and I thought he was crazy. Then that truck ended up being the exact model he wanted for a steal, and it finally clicked. Patience really does sneak up on you and pay off when you least expect it.
