Why I stopped babying my fiddle leaf fig after 3 years of stress
I spent 36 months treating my fiddle leaf fig like royalty, wiping leaves, filtering water, and keeping it in that perfect bright spot near the east window in my Denver apartment. Then I forgot to water it for two weeks during a job in Boulder, and it dropped 4 leaves but pushed out 2 new ones that are the healthiest it's ever grown. Am I the only one who thinks we overthink these plants and they actually do better with a little neglect, or did I just get lucky with the timing?
