Am I the only one who bought two steam cleaners and the cheap one worked better?
I run my own house cleaning business here in Spokane, and last spring I picked up a $22 handheld steamer at a hardware store going out of business. A few weeks later I spent $180 on a fancy one with a bunch of attachments, mostly because a customer kept asking if I had a "pro" setup. Turns out the little $22 one got gum out of a carpet in about 3 minutes, and the fancy one sputtered and quit in the middle of the same job. The pricey one is now a $180 doorstop in my garage. Has anyone else had a cheap tool beat the expensive one, or did I just get lucky with the clearance bin?
