Just realized a $40 laser level saves way more time than I thought
Used to spend forever setting up lines with a string, now I just pop it on the tripod and go. Anyone else find a simple tool that cut their setup time in half?

My buddy was hanging cabinets last year and spent a whole morning with a chalk line and a level. He kept getting one slightly off and had to redo it. I finally told him to just get a cheap laser. He grumbled about the cost but bought one. The next set of cabinets went up in under an hour. He still brings it up sometimes, how mad he was at himself for not switching sooner.

Oh man, chalk lines are a thing, @reese_hayes71. They're just a dusty, messy pain. A cheap laser level is a total game changer for stuff like that.
