I'm done with those 'budget meal kits' everyone raves about

I spent $45 on a box that was supposed to feed a family of four for three nights, but the portions were so small I had to make extra rice and beans just to fill us up. Has anyone else found them to be a total rip-off for actual hungry people?

I was a total believer until I tried one last month. The tiny chicken breast for four people was just sad.

Yeah, the tiny chicken breast thing is exactly it. I mean, it's not just small, it feels like they're tricking you with the price. You see a number and think it's a deal, but you're getting so little actual food. It makes the whole meal feel cheap and kinda sad, like you said. I'd rather pay more for a normal portion than feel ripped off.
