The $6 spiralizer that turned my zucchini into a crime scene

I bought one of those cheap hand spiralizers at Target for $6 thinking I'd make fancy noodles, but it launched a zucchini halfway across my kitchen and left orange plastic bits in my stir fry. I'm honestly impressed it lasted three uses, anyone else have a budget kitchen gadget that was more trouble than it's worth?

Kinda feels like the universal rule of kitchen gadgets anymore, pay less than $10 and you're basically gambling on whether it'll work or just become a really specific piece of plastic waste.

That $10 gadget pays for itself the first time you use it if it saves you ten minutes. Half the stuff people complain about is operator error anyway, cheap tools just need a bit more patience.
