Vent: my sister in law said my chili was 'just beans and sadness' at Thanksgiving, so I started weighing my meat
She got in my head enough that I bought a $12 kitchen scale and now I do 1 pound of beef to 2 cups of dry beans instead of dumping whatever's in the pantry, and honestly the pot costs me $6.50 now instead of $9 and nobody complains, so what's your ratio for stretching a pound of meat across a whole week of dinners?
