Am I the only one who paid $11 for a hostel towel in Barcelona and it turned out to be the best money of the trip
I laughed at the front desk when they said towels cost 10 euros to rent, so I used my beach towel for two showers and hated my life. Ended up paying on night three and honestly that fresh towel felt like a five star hotel. What is the dumbest small fee you have refused to pay and then caved on?

Wait, 10 euros? That is like 11 bucks just to dry off with something that probably gets washed once a week at best. I would have done the exact same thing, tried to be cheap with my beach towel and then regretted it by day two. Three nights of cold damp towel sounds like actual torture, I don't blame you for cracking.
