Found a $23 roundtrip flight to Austin using the 'hidden city' trick
Booked a flight to Dallas with a layover in Austin, just got off in Austin and saved like $190 compared to direct tickets. Has anyone else done this and had the airline catch them, or is it still working fine?

Bet on it working until one day it doesnt. I tried this once and got so paranoid about my bag making the connection that I ended up hiding in a bathroom stall near the gate like some kind of airport criminal. My heart was pounding the whole time and I almost chickened out and flew to Dallas anyway. Still saved the money though, so my cheapness beat my anxiety that day. Just make sure you only do this with carry-on luggage unless you want the airline to play hide and seek with your underwear.
