Got pickpocketed at a crowded market in Barcelona last month

I was at La Boqueria squeezing through a huge crowd when someone snagged my wallet from my back pocket. Lost about 60 euros but luckily I kept my passport and phone in a zipped pouch under my shirt. Anyone else started carrying a money belt after something like this?

My friend Sarah had the exact same thing happen in Barcelona. She was at Park Güell taking photos and a kid bumped into her from behind. Didn't feel a thing until she went to buy a water later. Her wallet was gone with like 100 euros and her credit card already got used at a nearby store before she even noticed.

Oh man, that's awful. I hate that these thieves are so slick and fast, it's scary how easy it is to lose everything without even knowing.

Ugh that's the worst part isn't it, by the time you realize what happened they're long gone with your stuff. It makes you feel so violated even if it's just money and cards.
