Hit 50 nights in hostels across Europe this year and I'm split on whether it's worth it anymore

Started booking private rooms in hostels instead of dorms and it made a huge difference. Still got the social vibe and kitchen access but could actually sleep without someone stumbling in at 3am. Worth paying a bit more to not hate life by day 10.

Friend of mine tried this in Barcelona and ended up sharing a wall with someone who snored like a freight train all night. Still better than the dorm though, right? Never know who you're gonna get matched with in those shared rooms.
