Hit $500 in flight credits with credit card points, thought it would take 2 years
Ive been churning airline cards since March and just crossed 50k points. I kept booking short hops on Southwest during their sales and the points stacked way faster than I planned. My secret is using the shopping portal for everything, even groceries. 500 bucks covers a round trip to Denver from Chicago next month. Anyone else hit a points milestone that surprised them faster than expected?

My buddy Tom hit 40k points in four months doing the same grocery portal trick, flew his whole family to Florida for free last week.
