I finally got the right bus ticket in Rome, but it took me 45 minutes

I was trying to get a 24-hour public transit pass from a machine at Termini station. The machine only took coins, and I kept getting an 'error' message after putting in 7 euros. A local guy finally showed me you have to press the 'confirm' button twice, super fast, or it times out. Has anyone else had this happen with those old ticket machines?

Lol sounds like you got lucky, those machines are usually way worse.

Nah, I've had pretty decent luck with them overall, reese_hayes71. Maybe you just keep finding the bad ones.
