Lost my passport in a hostel locker in Lisbon last Tuesday

I was at the Lisbon Destination Hostel and realized my passport was gone after I came back from the beach. Turns out I left it in the locker after changing clothes, but a guy from Argentina found it and turned it in before I even noticed. Anyone else ever panic over a lost passport abroad and get lucky?

Left it in the locker" - do you remember if it was locked or just sitting open?

Hell yeah man. Last time I used a locker at the YMCA I slammed it shut without even checking. Came back two hours later and it was wide open. Wallet and keys just sitting there. Pure luck nobody grabbed them. Now I double check every time like a paranoid freak.
