The cheapest flight I ever found was a mistake fare I tracked for 6 weeks

Honestly, I stumbled on a Twitter account called Secret Flying and booked a round trip from NYC to Lisbon for $180. Has anyone else had luck with mistake fares or is it just a scam most of the time?

I booked a $250 round trip to Tokyo on a mistake fare from TheFlightDeal a few years back, and it was totally legit. The key is to move fast because airlines usually catch and cancel these within a few hours, so have your passport and payment info ready to go. Secret Flying is solid too, just check the dates and baggage rules before you get too excited.

TheFlightDeal email alerts have saved me a couple times too, I got a $400 round trip to Iceland that way. Just gotta be ready to impulse buy and hope the airline doesn't nuke it before you finish checkout.
