The price difference for flights to Lisbon is crazy right now

I was looking at a trip for next May and checked the same route in late March. A direct flight from Chicago was $1,100. I checked again last week for the same dates and it was down to $650. I think it's because they added a new budget airline on that route. Has anyone else seen a huge drop like that for a specific city recently?

That's just normal price swings, not some crazy deal.

I mean, @gray875, I get what you're saying about normal swings. I just set a price alert for a bit lower than the current price and waited. When it hit that point last month, I bought. It wasn't a crazy deal, but it saved me like 15 bucks on something I was already going to get.

Saved fifteen bucks on a socket set last year doing that. Not life changing, but it bought lunch.
