Just saw the new price for a coffee at the airport in Phoenix
I was at Sky Harbor yesterday and a regular black coffee at the stand near gate B7 was $5.75. That's almost double what my local shop charges. I know airport stuff is always more, but this felt like a real jump. What's the most you've seen for a simple drink lately?

Grab a cheap travel mug from home and fill it at the airport water fountain. I bring my own instant coffee packets and just ask for hot water, sometimes they don't even charge for that. The markup on anything inside security is insane, you're just paying for the location. My record was seven bucks for a small tea at JFK last year.

That's smart. My sister got a bottle of water confiscated once because she forgot it was half full before security.
