Spotted a grocery store clearance rack hidden behind the bakery section last week

Found packs of organic chicken thighs for $3.50 each just because they were close to the sell-by date, has anyone else stumbled on a hidden discount spot like that?

and that's the thing, right? like who even thinks to check behind the bakery section for meat deals? it's always the weird spots you don't expect. so my question is did you have to dig through a bunch of random stuff to find the chicken, or was it just sitting there in plain sight? cause i've found that sometimes the hidden spots are actually organized nice but other times it's a total disaster zone with stuff piled everywhere. makes me wonder if that's part of the test, like the store is hiding the good deals on purpose and only the brave get rewarded.

Wait, $3.50 for organic chicken thighs? That's practically stealing. I found a similar stash at my local ShopRite but it was just dented cans of pumpkin puree and expired taco seasoning. The chicken thing is a whole other level though, I'd probably buy like 10 packs and freeze them. You lucked out big time.
